We Did It!!!!

On July 22, we actually/finally/happily/(fill in adverb here) got married. Without boasting, I can say it was a perfect day. The ceremony was a lovely reflection of our relationship. I am thrilled that so many of our friends and family were able to join us. For the next six months, be prepared to be bored with wedding pictures and stories galore.

A preview of what is to come follows (insert ghoulish laugh here) but I would first like to thank our friends and family for all of their support and hard work. Most importantly I would like to thank Joey and my parents for their emotional support during the past few months. (Mom and Dad, I promise never to have another wedding, ever. Maybe we can get Erica and Ben to elope... not together, of course.) Ole, Susan, Toby and Rosie, the rehearsal dinner was delicious -- it was everything I hoped it would be. Boylan family, your help was invaluable; having you take care of stuff meant that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Erica, you astounded me with your "togetherness" and your elegance (even if everyone else thought you were more adorable than elegant). Dae Dae, your calm presence and willingness to just take care of stuff was wonderful. Toby and Brian, you did a great job bringing up the rings. Bell girls -- Annsley, Makenna, Rosie, Allison, and Isabelle -- you may have stolen the show but I am so glad that you were there. Joey's Kim, your singing was absolutely stunning (and a bit too much of a tear-jerker!). Ben and Kim, thank you so much for putting the whole event together. Even the caterers' commented on how well you handled everything.
