The C Word
We have had several complaints recently about not having enough new updates or pictures of the girls. We do have built-in excuses as taking care of twins is no easy task. Erin has been doing a great job and is really enjoying being a mom. I can follow basic instructions and haven't dropped them yet. So all in all, we feel very successful.
However, we have a new issue which will make our lives even more busy. I have been diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and will begin chemotherapy treatment on March 25. This has come as a shock, but all of the doctors say that my prognosis is good. We are all optimistic and think that this will just be a minor chapter in the Book of Joey.
We are incredibly lucky to have such supportive friends and family. All offers of dinner, baby-sitting, or just hanging out will be gratefully accepted.

Just wanted to tell you, I've been where you at and my kids is what got me through it. I will be praying for you and Erin and the girls too.
Joey, so sorry to hear about your illness. God is great. Prayers of friends are wonderful. We have seen the miracle of prayers many times, I will be one of many praying for you and your family. Sending our love.
