New Travelling Companion
Erica has arrived!! We are so excited to have a new travelling companion, and especially happy that she came all this way to visit. We spent two nights in Bangkok and are now in Koh Phi Phi. We spent most of the day in transit - first by plane and then by boat. Phi Phi is a beautiful island which has mostly recovered from the tsunami of 2004, although you can still see evidence of it in places.
We are planning on being lazy tomorrow by spending most of the day on the beach with a possible excursion to have a massage. I think the high point of the day will be a nap. As you can see, it is fun to travel with Joey and Erin and you should be jealous. Why haven't you been planning on rendezvousing with us somewhere on our trip? It would be fun... (ok, enough enticement/temptation)
Time to go explore the island and have some more fresh seafood. Have a great weekend.

I'd rendevous with you, but the 20 hours of plane travel with a 1.5 year old is an insurmountable obstacle right now. Hawaii was about the right distance, Europe or Latin America will be next...but I like the idea of a nap.
