the things we are thankful for

Our year of travel is now officially coming to a close. Joey has started working and Erin is interviewing, so the yearlong journey is at its end. December 5th is the one year anniversary of our leaving the States for our trip around the world, and it has been such an amazing experience!

At Thanksgiving, we are thankful for our friends and family. You have been an integral part of our trip, and it has made us recognize the impact you have in our lives. During our trip and since, you have let us stay in your homes and fed us. You have shared more than your fair share when it comes to splitting gas fill ups and bar tabs. You've even let us borrow dvds, so we don't have to rent them. Some call it 'mooching', but you said 'no problem'. We felt guilt, and you pardoned us. We have been the friend in need, and you have been a friend indeed. We hope that one day, we can repay your kindness with the same.
